The "Dauntless" Buick 350 V8 uses a cast iron block and cylinder heads with overhead valves and hydraulic lifters. The Buick 350 was used from 1969 until 1970 in J-series pickups and Wagoneer’s.

This '70 Wagoneer has a rebuilt 'Dauntless' Buick 350 5.7 liter, Turbo 400 4 wheel drive transmission with a Dana 20 Transfer Case and Dana 44 rear axle. There are only 4200 miles on the motor/transmission.

The heater core and a/c are in excellent working condition.  Most of the components that are the mechanicals of the block are new such as the water pump, K&N Air Filter, Petronix Ignitor Ignition System, fuel pump, new battery, cables, hoses, etc.

The motor was rebuilt by R & R Engines in Seattle,Wa.

The mileage on the motor before it was rebuilt was roughly 120,000 miles. There are NO hot rod adjustments, big cams or a supercharger done to this motor when it was rebuilt. Just back to stock and it runs very smooth. It was finished March 2008. It now only has estimated 4500 miles on it.

I have all of the receipts to show what has been done to the car. Especially the motor receipt with the mileage documented on it.

The heart of the beast.
